Vusal Goyushov

Born on August 11, 1981, in the Gazakh district.
Education:
He graduated from Secondary School No. 1 in the city of Gazakh in 1998.
In 2002, he earned a bachelor’s degree in “Engineering Economics and Management,” and in 2004 a master’s degree in “Finance and Credit,” both from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, graduating with honors.
In 2023–2024, he studied for an MBA in “International Business Management and Innovation” at the Barcelona Executive Business School (BEBS), Spain.
In 2004–2005, he completed compulsory military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
International certifications:
In 2009, he obtained a certificate after completing a six-month “Fundamentals of Banking Risk Program” by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
In 2010, he participated in the “Global Islamic Finance” master class program organized by GRBS, Oxford Islamic Finance, and Dar Al Istithmar.
Professional career:
From 2005 to 2007, he worked as a consultant and senior consultant at the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad.
From 2007 to 2017, he served at “Muganbank” OJSC as Head of the Credit Control Department and Director of the Risk Management Department.
From 2017 to 2023, he was Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of “Muganbank” OJSC.
Since July 5, 2024, he has been appointed Executive Director of the Moral Values Promotion Foundation under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations.
He has been a member of the New Azerbaijan Party since 2003.
He is married and has three children.
